One of Kate’s strengths is crafting engaging, practical and applicable messages from God’s Word based on your topic or theme verse. To hear a recent message she shared on a Sunday morning for her home church, click the following link:

Don’t have a theme yet for your retreat or leadership training? Consider using one of Kate’s favorites listed below:
Beyond Wonder (3-4 sessions) Based on Ephesians 3:20, “Now to Him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine according to His power that is at work within us” this series asks, do you want something more than what you’ve got right now? God is both willing and able to do more than we ask, the question is, are you asking? God designed each of us as His special creation, we are beyond wonder. In order to get to the place of “Beyond Wonder” we need to move “beyond wondering” if we can trust Him.
Irresistible Influence (4 sessions) As women, we have the unique ability to have an effect on the character, development or behavior of those around us. In order to do so, we must first, find our security in Christ, then take an honest look at who or what is influencing us, do the hard work of removing the barriers to influence and be willing to be lend ourselves to the Lord, understanding that what God asks us to do, He gives us the ability to do. This series encourages women to be irresistible (in the best way) and is a great series for leaders!
Stayin’ Alive (3-4 sessions) “But because of His great love for us, God, who is rich in mercy, made us alive with Christ” Ephesians 2:4-5. Participants will learn how to revive by walking in obedience to God, survive seasons of hurt and temptation, and thrive by growing into the unique woman God made them to be. Ideal for a retreat, also included in this series are new lyrics (based on the teachings) to the original “Stayin’ Alive” song by the Bee Gees that can be sung as a fun way to conclude your time together.
The Heart of the Matter (1-6 sessions) The quality of your life is in equal proportion to the health of your heart. Proverbs 4:23 says to “guard your heart, for everything you do flows from it.” This series teaches you how: –Scripture, –Spiritual Friendships, –Solitude & Silence, –Surrender, –Supplication and –Simplicity help to protect your heart (against the challenges of life and the enemy of your soul) through daily spiritual disciplines. Each message can stand alone or, for more than one session, choose any combination of the six listed above. This series is especially important for leaders!
What’s Love Got to Do with It? (2-4 sessions) Based on the book of First John, this series uses song titles to explore the following:
- “Looking for Love in All the Wrong Places” – Where do you turn for love in the brokenness of life? 1st John 2:15-17
- “How Deep Is Your Love?” Love is an action word. How do you lay down your life for your brothers and sisters in Christ? 1st John 3:16-20
- “I Want to Know What Love is, I Want You to Show Me” – In His essential nature and all His actions, God is loving towards you. 1st John 4:8 & 16
