One of my go-to verses is Psalm 27:14. This one little verse has seen me through on many occasions. I found myself there once again this morning.
“Wait and hope for and expect the Lord, be brave and of good courage and let your heart be stout and enduring. Yes, wait for and hope for and expect the Lord.” Psalm 27:14, Amplified
After reading it in many translations and doing a little bit of studying, I wrote the following for myself and thought it may be encouraging to you as well:
As I am waiting, I am hopeful and believe that God will show up/arrive soon. I choose to face unpleasant conditions and behavior without showing fear. I will radiate warm confidence because God is infusing His strength in me through faith. I live out the inner confidence that is Spirit-produced. My heart is stout – determined, resolute, unyielding, and my heart is enduring – it is durable and suffers pain and difficulty patiently,
My heart won’t give up hope.
I pray this verse over you and whatever you may be facing dear friends. Don’t let your heart give up hope!
Your Friend in Ministry,
